HEALTH ENRICHMENT PROGRAM Fridays, March 7, 14, 28 and April 11 at 10:30 a.m. Presented by PSC Fitness Center and USC Doctoral Students This program presents opportunities for Fitness Center Members to enhance a their well-being with practices designed to advance and improve their daily function through physical, cognitive, emotional, and social health. Participants receive instruction in and practice movements to gain strength, power, and mobility to complete successful strength training workouts as well as achieve improvement in daily tasks, such as getting up from the floor, climbing stairs, sitting down and standing up, plus much more. Participants receive individualized coaching plans developed by a team of health and fitness professionals and USC doctoral students to enrich other aspects of their health and fitness, including stress-management, nutrition, activity levels, body awareness, balance, hand-eye coordination, memory, and dexterity. Swing into St. Patrick’s Day with the danceable favorites from the Big Band era, played with exuberant joy by the Great American Swing Band. There’s plenty of room for dancing, as well as relaxing at tables to enjoy delightful music and light refreshments. Festive attire encouraged! Reservations are suggested.

This Olympic-style multi-sport event for adults 50+ draws athletes from across California. Eighteen events take place, from Swimming to Archery, primarily in the Pasadena area. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in 5-year age categories for each event. The cost is only a $45.00 athlete fee, plus events fees to enter.
