EMOTION IN MOTION: EXPLORING ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM (PAVILION) Saturdays, June 7 to 28 at 10:00 a.m. $5.00 for 4 Sessions Presented by local Pasadena High School Seniors We will engage participants in a brief history of Abstract Expressionism, the techniques and ideas behind the works. The course will progress from history to design and finally to practical workshops where participants will be able to make their very own abstract expressionist inspired works. The class is designed for any level of experience in art history and art making. We strongly encourage participants to attend the full program. Registration is required. BREATHE EASIER WORKSHOP Wednesday, June 11, 10:00 a.m. Presented by Breathe Southern California This program offers adults essential lung health and wellness information. Topics provided: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Lung Cancer, Adult Asthma, and Sleep Apnea. We will focus on lung cancer prevention, the importance of screenings, how to reduce the risks, how to recognize symptoms, and the resources available. Registration is required.
